Dear SACC-NE members and friends,

Happy Friday!

The last few months at the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce New England (SACC-NE) have been an exciting and highly active time for us. We hosted a Mingel evening, participated in International Women’s Day, presented a panel on self-driving to a packed house, and introduced the concept of ‘Fika’ (coffee meeting) to the Cambridge Innovation Center community. During this time, we have strengthened our partnerships with Swedish and American international governmental organizations and academic establishments while planning several events designed to keep you connected and inspired (see below for more) for the rest of the year!

In our latest newsletter, we will share with you some of our latest updates, upcoming events, SACC-NE member stories, and a letter from Anna Persson, our Director of Communications and Operations, who leaves SACC-NE to return to Sweden and join Terranet AB next week. On this note, I would like to take this small opportunity to share with our readers and dear community that it has been a true pleasure and honor to work with Anna. Anna played a pivotal role in forging stronger ties between SACC-NE and entrepreneurial, academic, and political partners both in the United States and ‘back home’ in Sweden. Her departure from SACC-NE leaves us both saddened, but inspired to do more and do better!

Wishing everyone a wonderful and restful weekend.

At your service,

Christina Björnström

President, SACC-NE
