International Business Forum & Networking with GBANE

The Global Business Alliance of New England (GBANE) proudly hosted its 31st Annual International Business Forum & Networking Evening at Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School on October 14th. We at SACC-NE are proud to have co-hosted this event together with the French-American Chamber of Commerce, the German-American Business Council of Boston, the British-American Business Council of New England, the District Export Council (DEC) Massachusetts, the Netherlands-America Foundation, The Turkish Hub, and Women in World Trade New England.

Amid evolving trade policies, shifting global alliances and growing challenges to international supply chains, this year’s forum focused on how global businesses are adapting to a rapidly changing landscape - marked by accelerating technological innovation, strategic realignment and emerging partnerships.

The panel discussion, moderated by Doug Banks, Executive Editor at the Boston Business Journal, featured international experts across key industries. It was an impressive lineup of speakers, featuring among others James Colimon, Michael Haueisen, Rahul Kapoor and Jeevan Ramapriya. Panel topics included supply chains, energy storage and semiconductors, life sciences and pharmaceuticals, financial and tax strategies, and manufacturing.

It was a truly successful and inspiring evening, and we look forward to continued collaboration in the future!

Swedish Minister Benjamin Dousa visits SACC-NE in Boston

Breakfast Roundtable together with Benjamin Dousa🌟

We are proud to have co-hosted an exclusive breakfast roundtable together with the Honorary Consulate of Sweden in Boston and the General Consulate of Sweden in New York, welcoming Swedish companies based in Massachusetts for a unique opportunity to engage directly with Sweden’s Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Benjamin Dousa, during his visit to Boston from Sweden October 14.

This intimate event allowed participating companies to briefly present their business operations and take part in an informal and insightful discussion with the Minister.

The morning was a great success and was followed by a reception at the Lund-Lagnemma Residence, hosted by Ann-Kristin Lund, Honorary Consul of Sweden in Boston, together with Erik Ullenhag, Consul General of Sweden in New York.

We extend our sincere thanks to all partners and participants and we look forward to welcoming more Swedish ministerial visits to Boston in the future🌟
