A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made our Glögg & Holiday Mingle extra special yesterday! It was wonderful to bring together members, partners and friends from across the SACC-NE community for an evening filled with Swedish holiday warmth. Hosted at the Scandinavian Cultural Center & Library in West Newton, the event featured traditional treats, Sjoeblom’s glögg and beautiful Christmas carols performed by SWEA Boston’s choir, Merulae, creating an authentic and festive Swedish atmosphere right here in New England.
We were delighted to see both new and familiar faces for an evening of networking, celebration, and community. This year, several generous companies contributed holiday surprises, gifts, and beloved Swedish specialties, making the event even more memorable. Your support and presence truly brought the magic of Swedish Christmas to life.
Thank you for celebrating the season with us and for helping make this cherished tradition a highlight of our year. We look forward to many more moments together in 2026! 🎄✨

Don’t miss our Glögg & Holiday Mingle this Wednesday, December 10th!
You will be treated to a very traditional Swedish festivity with typically Christmas treats, beverages and songs, in the company of new and old friends. This event is the perfect way to network within SACC-NE's community and to enjoy holiday festivities.
This year we are so thankful for all our sponsors and companies that will be collaborating with us for this event. Not only do we have IKEA, Fjällräven and Nantasket Sweets by Swedes on board, but Woolpower, Sjoebloms Winery, Beantrust, Formaggio Kitchen, Njord Haven, among others, will also be in attendance.
We are also delighted to announce that the SWEA (Swedish Women's Educational Association) in Boston will be performing a classic English and Swedish Christmas carol at the Glögg & Holiday Mingle. Please note that their performance will take place at 6.30 PM.

Swedish Yuletide is here!✨
We’re excited to share that SWEA Boston’s beloved Swedish Yuletide is just around the corner and we warmly encourage you to join this festive celebration of Swedish holiday traditions!
When: December 13, 11 AM–3 PM
Where: Wellesley Hills Congregational Church
Tickets: $10, and children under 13 enter for free.
At 1:30 PM, the children of the Swedish School will present the beloved Lucia performance, a highlight of the day🕯️
You can also enjoy a delightful selection of Swedish food and beverages, including traditional baked goods and coffee - the perfect taste of Scandinavia in a cozy holiday setting🎄
It’s a fantastic opportunity to get into the holiday spirit, support meaningful causes, and experience a cherished Swedish tradition right here in New England🌟
