The Embassy of Sweden in Washington is one of Sweden's largest foreign authorities with more than fifty employees, more than half of whom are posted from Sweden. The Embassy is divided into seven departments. The Embassy represents Sweden in the United States and contributes information and reports to the Government Offices of Sweden and provides extensive official services to the public. A main task is to promote Swedish interests and contribute to increased trade and cultural exchange between Sweden and the USA. The Embassy has extensive statutory activities.
Temporary Vacancy at the Admin Department
Washington DC
Starting May 1, 2023, the position is a temporary position of up to 100%, the temporary position is limited until December 31, 2023. A prerequisite for employment is US citizenship or permanent residence (green card) in the US. Knowledge in written and spoken Swedish is not a must, but it is an advantage.
