SACC-NE visits Washington D.C.

SACC-NE, SACC-DC, AND SACC-USA OUTSIDE HOUSE OF SWEDEN

Last week, we visited our colleagues in Washington D.C. As a part of strengthening our interregional collaboration, Adam and Valter worked closely together with the regional chamber in the US capital; SACC-DC, our umbrella organization; SACC-USA, as well as the education-focused SIREUS project. We also visited the Swedish Embassy, where Ulrika Frank—Event Center Manager—gave us a magnificent tour of the premises.

Apart from exchanging ideas and having discussions on how to develop our common efforts as a network of Swedish-American commerce chambers, the SACC employees in DC also made sure to give us a fantastic exposé to the capital, showing us all the outstanding parks, monuments, and museums that the city has to offer.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude towards SACC Executive Director Karin Hammar for accommodating us at the House of Sweden during working hours, and to the interns at SACC-DC and SACC-USA for doing so off working hours.
