Celebrating Swedish National Day in Boston

On June 6, we had the pleasure of celebrating the Swedish National Day together with the Honorary Consulate of Sweden in Boston, the Consulate General of Sweden in New York, SWEA Boston, and the Scandinavian Cultural Center & Library.

The day began with a flag-raising ceremony at Boston City Hall Plaza, featuring a musical performance and remarks by Consul General Erik Ullenhag, along with representatives from the City of Boston.

In the afternoon, the Honorary Consulate of Sweden in Boston hosted a National Day reception in collaboration with Consul General Erik Ullenhag. Members of the Swedish-American community gathered to enjoy wonderful food, meaningful conversations, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

A heartfelt thank you to Honorary Consul Ann-Kristin Lund and Mr. Karl Lagnemma for graciously hosting the reception in your beautiful home. We were truly honored to take part in such a memorable celebration!
