Panelist Line-up for International Women's Day 2026

The panel discussion will be moderated by Karen Pevenstein, founder of Strategic Communications Consulting. Below is a brief introduction to our panelists:

Dr. Nida Çakir is a Senior Economist in the Economic Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Her research focuses on macroeconomics, energy, and environmental economics, with an emphasis on oil prices, inflation dynamics, productivity, and the economic implications of the green transition and climate policy. Her recent work examines trends in U.S. productivity and the role of AI.

Dr. Charlotte de Brabandt is a globally recognized technology and negotiation expert, author, and keynote speaker celebrated for her leadership in procurement, digital transformation, and future skills. She brings over a decade of international experience across industries such as automotive, technology, medical devices, and consumer goods, and today serves as Head of IT Partner Management & Head of IT Governance US at ZF Group.

Dr. Ona Ambrozaite is Director of the U.S. East Coast for the UK Science and Technology Network at the British Consulate General in Boston. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Johns Hopkins University, where her research focused on developing novel 1D and 2D semiconducting quantum materials for applications in quantum sensing, computing, and communication. In her current role, she leads science diplomacy initiatives to advance UK policy priorities and build international partnerships across key areas including quantum, fusion, and AI.
